چکیده

Objectives: We investigated the auditory cognitive and behavioral functions during 2nd 3rd trimesters of pregnancy using event-related potentials (ERPs) different neuropsychology tests, respectively.
Methods: The ERPs were studied by a 128-sensor net, PAS/COWA, WCST, ZCT, RAVLTIM/RAVLTDR/RAVLTTS, BDI tested for assessment. Total 39 subjects recruited control group (G1, n=15, non-pregnant), trimester (G2, n=12, 13-26 weeks gestation), (G3, 26- 40 gestation). Auditory oddball paradigm was used ERP study. Subjects silently counted only target stimuli with attention ignoring standard stimuli. Value mean differences measured across groups in 10-20 electrode systems.
Results: P50, N100, P300 components analyzed. G3 (at F7 C3) G2 T4) evoked highest significant amplitudes Cz Pz) G1 F8 N100 significantly prolonged latencies at O1 (in G1) G2). However, higher found Fz G3) FP1 (G2) (G2>G3). On other hand, tests revealed that possessed score WCST ZCT. performed poorly all tests.
Conclusion: concluded pregnant better (attention/memory) executive function Moreover, has compared to due effect hormonal changes pregnancy, which might be positive influence period.

Conjoining three auditory features: an event-related brain potential study.

The mechanisms of auditory feature processing and conjunction were examined with event-related brain potential (ERP) recording in a task in which participants responded to target tones defined by the combination of location, frequency, and duration features amid distractor tones varying randomly along all feature dimensions. Attention effects were isolated as negative difference (Nd) waves by s...

Hz Event Related Auditory Potential

Main focus of this paper is an EEG experiment on observing frequency of event related auditory potential in response to series of clicks. Based on the past research, it was expected to observe 40 Hz potential, which was not the case. The experiment was conducted on one subject, and the average observed frequency of 61 Hz could be explained by individual differences. However, an additional step ...

Correlations of premorbid adjustment in schizophrenia with auditory event-related potential and neuropsychological abnormalities.

OBJECTIVE The authors examined the relationship between premorbid adjustment in schizophrenia and event-related potential data and neuropsychological data obtained after onset of the illness. METHOD They interviewed 13 male veterans with chronic schizophrenia, 12 normal comparison subjects, and their first-degree relatives and also obtained objective data from the patients' school records and...

Assessing consciousness with auditory event-related potential during coma recovery: a case study

To observe changes in mismatch negativity (MMN) and P300 in a patient transitioning from a vegetative state (VS) to a minimally conscious state (MCS). One patient with intracerebral hemorrhage and an 8-month disease course was evaluated as being in the VS using the Coma Recovery Scale-Revised. Two weeks after the patient was admitted to the hospital, another evaluation was performed, and the pa...
